Do you feel like you’re stuck in a rut and you don’t know how to make progress in any area of your life? Are you feeling overwhelmed that you don’t know how and where to start?
Helping doctors dramatically reduce their stress, rapidly maximise their income, and optimise their time so they can live the life they want is my expertise. But today, I want to help you banish that feeling of being stuck and teach you how to move forward quickly. Check out my “3 steps to progress” strategy:
Step 1: Identify an Important Area of Life
Pick one area of life that’s most important to you right now and where you’d like to make some progress quickly. It could be your relationship with family, finances (career or business), or your physical health.
Step 2: Think of One Thing You’ve Been Putting Off
Once you’ve identified the important area in your life that you want to improve, think about one thing about this area that you’ve been putting off, but need to take action on. For example, you want to make progress on the financial aspect of your life and finally start a business. Well, now is probably a good time to do something about that.
Step 3: Count and Take Action
Count from five to one and then move! Take a physical step or action towards making progress in that one thing that you need to do. It could be getting up from the bed, sitting in front of your computer, logging into your email account, and sending a message to that supplier you’ve always wanted to contact. It could also be making a phone call and setting an appointment with the owner of a space where you would like to build your future store. Whatever it is, you know that there’s one thing that you put on the back burner, and that’s the one thing you need to do first.
It’s normal for people to feel stuck at times. But what matters is you still push yourself to make some progress. Progress feels quite wonderful. Put these three steps into practise and experience the progress and growth that you want and deserve.
